Marcus and Kenneth went to Dallas, Texas to watch the 2011 ADRL Finals at Motorplex stadium in Ennis.

The show was great but the crowds were nowhere to be found which was a bore but all the guys from Sweden and the the fact that the US is the goddamn US make up for any crowd disappearing..

The Mustang never saw Tierp Arena this year, really sad when we all put so much effort in getting it fixed up after the engine broke on Kjula Dragway in June.

Before the engine was shot we rambled with this broken litte baby, in the process we changed gears from 4.56 to 4.29 which was too high. Should have gone with 4.10 or 3.90, we’re calculating whicj is the one as we speak.

Saturday on the 7:th of May 2011 was the sneak preview and opening day of the grandiose Tierp Arena just north of Stockholm, Sweden.

With this gigantic US-inspired arena, Sweden will be the leading dragracing country in all of Europe after Mantorp Park’s sad decay and foreclosure as a dragracingtrack. It’s actually upsetting to hear the statement from the board of trustees at Mantorp Park that they will not go further with the dragracingevents in the future.

On that note, we want to welcome Tierp Arena as the new shining hope for European dragracing!

Our Crewchief Jocke just bought a -74 Pontiac Firebird for his girl Anna who’s gonna race with the team flags season 2011. Welcome to the team!

The car has a 350 Cui smallblock V8 with a lightweight turbo and a rebuilt front, should be able to get +500 horsepower with some smaller engine rebuilds.

Due to a poor job on the piston skirt coating last year we decided to sandblast away the remaining bits and pieces of what was left, turned out great!

Hi guys!

Spring is coming up and the activity in the garage is building up. First off we have a test n tune event down at Kjula Dragway (website: www.rodnkustom.se) in May, shortly after that the offshoreseason starts with the race up in Simpnäs, Norrtälje. We didn’t get to drive that race last year since our gearhousing broke on the newly imported Mercury XR6 we rigged on the boat so this is going to be exciting!

Apart from that we’re gonna do all the Kjula Dragway events, try to get up to Tierp Arena for their European Championship and at the same time do all the Offshoreraces during the summer, believe us that’s a tight schedual! Here’s a couple of pictures of some the parts who just arrived for the dragracingcar. A new batch is on the incoming so get back in here soon for some updates.

Since we’re going all-in with the NOS setup on the racecar this season there was no denying we needed more NOS bottles to work with. Some of the races during the summer has really good days with up to 4-5 runs which means 2-3 whole bottles if we choose to apply maximum effect. More parts are on it’s way!

The team’s Mercury XR6 is currently getting a rebuild with new parts for the season of 2011.

After a couple of weeks of silence here we are back in the garage working on all our stuff for the upcoming season of 2011. Here’s a couple of pictures of Robert taking the PowerGlide transmission apart for a look-through. Just to see if there’s anything that needs our immediate attention.

For special occations, as the one when you want to rebuild the whole thing in a lift, you have to use a homemade bracket like the shifty looking one on the bellhouse, not good looking but effective!

Brought home a couple of boxes with engine parts for the offshoreracing engine who needs a rebuild after the season of 2010, compression was low and the reed valves were lacking tension so after a few hours of needed love we’ll be back in the water again. Problem is Sweden has -3 degrees Celsius (that’s 26,6 Fahrenheit) and 6 inches of snow outside!

Not Miami or California weather exactly.. but what the hell, it’s only cold. We want speed!
